As powerful as InDesign is, it's only part of the Creative Suite. That's not a sales pitch, that's a fact.

Once you have mastered InDesign, time to move on to Illustrator. Once you have mastered Illustrator and InDesign, there isn't much you can't do with your designs...and for that there's Photoshop.

Sounds nice, but what does it mean? InDesign integrates with Illustrator so easily, you'll think it's just another dialog box, like Drop Shadow or Table Options. And once you are confortable moving between the two and using them as two halves of the whole, you'll be amazed at where your designs will take you.
