InDesign CS3: Improved Pages Pane

If you think Adobe just polished the Pages Pane (palette) in InDesign CS3 to make it look better, you should probably look again. In addition to improved page handling, thumbnail views and dotted Master Page items, there is new functionality that eliminates the need for some of the old workarounds. For one, you can load Master Pages from another document, much like you would Styles or Swatches. You can Move pages via Layout> Pages> Move Pages not only to other parts of your document, but to other open documents, as well. Now that's cool.

Also improved is the ability to syncronize Master Pages between multiple documents using the Book feature. Other Master Page improvements include the way Text Wrap is handled and the ability to select items that cannot be overridden locally.

Hmmmm...sounds like a lot more than just a shiny finish on an old tool. Sounds like a total restoration.
