Brooklyn Bridge Last Summer | by Chris Belena - NATIVE NEW-YORKER!!!

Here is a photo of the Brooklyn Bridge that I took last summer. It was taken from Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport looking towards Brooklyn. Immediately to the right of the Bridge (from this view)- there is a little ice cream shop called the Ice Cream Factory (small, white building with red roof) which is a must on hot summer days - all hand made ice cream. The shop happens to site on a very historic pier. It was where Gen. George Washington crossed into Manhattan after the Battle for Long Island during the Revolutionary War, 1776. The only retouching that was done was a removal of an airplane over the bridge.
